Rod Brown
Rod Brown grew up almost at the end of the runway at Northolt and this spurred him to join the Royal Air Force in 1956 as an engine fitter and specialised in Chipmunks.

Rod trained for his PPL on a Tiger Moth while still in the RAF, based at the Central Flying School at Little Rissington.

Rod has been a flying instructor since 1986 and is now CFI of one of the country's leading flying schools, Cabair's Denham School of Flying.

Rod is co-author of Air Britain's authoratative work "Chipmunk - the first 50 years" and along with fellow writer Bill Fisher probably has the largest collection of Chipmunk photographs and materials in the world.
